MEET THE RANCH!
Longtime horse enthusiasts Jim and Vicki started Lost Spur Ranch 10 years ago with the intention of breeding and enjoying the beautiful Miniature Horse breed for their own enjoyment. Since then, they have developed very basic breeding programs centered around double dilute, black base appaloosa and overo color patterns. They strive to enjoy a horse bred for its conformation as well as its personality for their use and the uses of others interested in the Miniature Horse.
Today, Lost Spur is a destination in the rolling foothills of California where horses are free to roam on their beautiful 40+ acre ranch with the best priority in care and management. They spend their time cultivating and appreciating their horses everyday in their spacious pastures where their horses live and enjoy the landscape.
Jim and Vicki work hard to help people appreciate the American Miniature Horse through exposure to the youth and kind reception to the public regarding their herd and the history behind them.
